1.What is a tape switch?

Tape switches are made to have electrical contacts with length and width. You can freely change the length, cut it to the required length, and use it as a switch function immediately after terminal processing with wire.

1-1.Characteristic

1) It has a long life span.
Contact resistance is very low, less than 50mΩ. Therefore, even if the ON / OFF is repeated,You can use it for a long time.

2). Handling Precautions

In order to use the tape switch safely, please pay attention to the following points.
(a) General precautions
Be careful not to bend or twist beyond the allowable minimum bending radius.
(See the specifications for each model for the permitted radii).
Do not pull or use wires to install or transport. It may cause disconnection.
Do not use nails or screws as this may cause a short circuit when installing the tape switch.When fixing, we recommend using adhesives, double-sided tape, channel and joint construction.
(b) Operating environment
Use within the temperature range specified in the specifications.
Use in flooded condition is dangerous. (Waterproof, spinning differs depending on the product.)
Because it causes irregularities on the surface, we ask for installation in a flat place. The switch is always off. Please avoid turning it ON for a long time with medium load.

3). Electrical rating

For safety reasons and to preserve the life of the switch, please use it with a certain voltage and current value.
Maximum AC 100V, DC 30V, 1A capacity, please use AC, DC 30V, 1A or less.

It is a terminal set that anyone can install lead wire and terminal sealing in a short time.
Soldering is not required for lead wire installation. Just plug in the connector between the upper and lower electrode plates of the tongue shape with the upper and lower electrode plates.

3). T type, L type connector

• 103-TA: Gray "T"/ • 103-TB: Yellow "T"/ • 103-LA: Gray "L"/ • 103-LB: yellow "L"

T and L connectors are used to connect the 102-A and 102-B switches to the T and L types.

1-9.Installing the tape switch

The switch kit "mold terminal" can be used easily. Here is how to use it.

1). Cutting tape switch.

Cut the tape switch to make it flat so that no residue is left on the switch.

2). Expansion of upper and lower devices

Extend upper and lower elements using nail knives and knives

3). Insert the connector.

Insert the lead wire connector (live) between the upper and lower elements.

4). Put an insulator.

On the terminal connector side, turn on a 10 mm × 10 mm insulator (mylar: accessory). Tester and buzzer Check on-off status

5).If you apply sealant

Apply sealant as shown. Lead wire side and tape switch end to about 13mm position Click Terminal. Clean the wrong sealant.
Apply sealant to the wire outlet.

6).complete

Can be used if the seal is dry.
